Chef Haden of The Wedding Cake began her culinary career making special occasion
cakes for friends and family.  This ignited a passion leading her to resign her position in
corporate America.  She enrolled in culinary school at Sullivan University and earned a
degree in Baking & Pastry Arts graduating at the top of her class.  

She has been a Certified Pastry Chef since 2000.  Chef Haden has been active in the
American Culinary Federation and has served as an officer in the Kentucky Chapter.

Chef Haden has received the Kentucky Chapter American Culinary Federation Pastry
Chef of the Year in 2004 and 2007.

Chef Haden is the 2008 Southeast Region American Culinary Federation Pastry Chef of
the Year.  She was one of four finalists for the American Culinary Federation National
Pastry Chef of the Year. She competed for the national title in Las Vegas, NV in July 2008.

In addition to these honors, she has also served as judge for many culinary competitions.
